Encouraging Teachers

We do several teacher appreciation activities throughout the year.  From welcome back treats, to the teacher appreciation week, the Patriot Pals is proud to help our teachers feel appreciated.  The Holiday lunch is catered by Patriot Pals. We love serving that meal before winter break. We have provided a link for parents to see their student’s teacher’s favorite things.  Click here to see the Favorite Things of Piedmont Teachers listed.

School Spirit

Patriot Pals pays for the DJ for the 5th grade Sock Hop Dance.  At secondary campus, Patriot Pals often provides hot items for purchase at lunch.  Patriot Pals donated tents for athletic events.  Spirit wear clothing orders can be placed online. All orders will be delivered to the school. If you do not want to use Paypal for spirit wear purchases, you can print a spirit wear form and send it in to school with payment.  Click here to download the order form if you do not want to pay online.

Book Fair

Twice a year the Patriot Pals encourage reading by hosting a Book Fair. The spring sale is Buy One Get One free.  The spring sale is April 10th to 13th.  We need volunteers to make this event a success.

FUNDRAISING

Piedmont Community Charter School, A Challenge Foundation Academy works closely with the PTO – The Patriot Pals to supplement the school’s operational budget with funds for specific needs.  The Fine Arts Program, Physical Education, and extracurricular activities have all benefited from the efforts of fundraising.  Use your purchasing power to help PCCS-CFA!

Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases to Piedmont whenever you shop on AmazonSmile.  You use the same account on Amazon.com and AmazonSmile.  On your first visit to AmazonSmile (smile.amazon.com), you need to select a charitable organization to receive donations from eligible purchases before you begin shopping.  Click here to choose Piedmont Community Charter School. Amazon will remember your selection, and then every eligible purchase you make at smile.amazon.com will result in a donation.

Read-A-Thon

Elementary Students at Piedmont will have a Read-A-Thon on February 27th through March 3rd.  People are asked to sponsor the reader by making a one-time, lump sum donation that is collected right then.  Parents and friends can write notes encouraging students to read. During Literacy Week, we will celebrate the importance of reading. All money raised will go towards building a new playground. Go to www.read-a-thon.com for more information.
