Secondary Clubs for 6th – 12th Grade

Bible Club is for 6th-12th grades meeting on Tuesdays. They are going to have an interest meeting on September 12th in Mrs. Whitlock’s room. They will vote on meeting in the mornings or after school.. They have a time of prayer and opportunity for students to share what is going on in their lives.  (

We Cry Out

Chess is for 6 – 12th grades. It will be on Thursday afternoons in Mrs. Walter’s room starting on Sept. 7th. Chess promotes strategic thinking. (

All-in-All Alliance club provides a time for middle and high school students, both LGBT and straight allies, to come together to have conversations about LGBT and other issues in a safe, supportive environment. They will meet on the 2nd and 4th Friday’s after school beginning September 22nd. (

Piedmont Patriot Historians helps students learn and experience the history of North Carolina.  Grades 6 – 12th will meet Fridays after school. The first meeting will be announced soon. (

Student Council is for 6 – 12th grades.  Middle School student council sponsors are Mrs. Crump and Mrs. Moses. Details on MS Student Council’s first meeting are coming soon. High school student council sponsor is  HS Student Council will meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month starting September 27th.

High School Only Clubs

Junior Heart Board is led by Mrs. Cook who is an EC teacher at Piedmont.  They will be the first Tuesday of each month except the first meeting which will be Wednesday, Sept. 6th.  This is a service based organization that educates on having a healthy heart. They serve the community in a variety of ways. (

National Honor Society is for 10th – 12th grades meeting 2nd Wed. of the month. September 12th existing NHS students will meet for the first time. For more info, contact sponsor at or

Prom Committee is for 9 – 12th grades meeting the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 3 – 4pm. This group plans Prom and other after school dances for both Middle and High School.  The first meeting will be September 20th.  (

Sign Language Club is led by Nancy Revels who is an EC teacher at Piedmont.  They meet on Tuesdays from 3-3:45pm.  First meeting will be September 12th.  (

Middle School Only Clubs

Nation Junior Honor Society is for middle school students who have high academic averages and exhibit good character and citizenship. For more info contact sponsor at  More details on this coming soon.

Let me Run for middle school boys will meet in Mrs. Crump’s room briefly then the leaders will walk students down to New Hope for running.  Parents are to pick up at New Hope.  Registration can be done by clicking here.

Patriot Singers auditions will be for 4th and 5th graders on Monday, September 11th after school until 4:10. Click here for a sample performance.

There is a $25 membership fee for those accepted into the choir which includes a Patriot Singers t-shirt. Rehearsals will be every Monday until 4:10 and will begin September 18th.  At the audition students will be taught a short song to sing, they do not need to prepare their own.  (
