Student Life

Piedmont has a very active community of parents. Parents enrich school life by being involved through volunteer activities, social gatherings and staying informed about student life.  Parent and students show support by being involved and informed about policies, procedures, expectations and important events and dates.  Click on the red text for links to important information.

Elementary Parent Student Handbook provides detailed information on a variety of topics from enrollment to code of conduct.

Secondary Parent Student Handbook provides details on student parking, sports, course descriptions and more.

Attendance Policy was updated in 2015. High School students can be absent up to 10 days each semester.

Secondary Cell Phone Procedures help our students maximize instruction time.

Piedmont has a student rewards program to recognize our students with outstanding grades, attendance, behavior, and school involvement.  Click here for a rewards diagram describing what students need to qualify for each level and what they receive.

Parent Portal gives the parents online access to their student’s grades and attendance.  To access Parent Portal you must stop by the registrar’s office on either campus to pick up your secure login ID.

PaySchools is an online payment system that allows parents to have easy and convenient online access to purchase and pay for items and fees 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. PaySchools will be programmed to accept field trip fees, club dues, donations, and other types of payments.

To ensure your security, PaySchools does not store personal bank or credit card information. For additional information, a Parent User Guide is attached below.  Click here to use PaySchools.

Healthcare forms are on the webpages of our nurses.  Click here for our elementary campus nurse. Click here for our secondary campus nurse.

Drivers ED  Piedmont Community Charter School secondary campus provides a 30 seat classroom and a parking space for the NC Driving School to offer a driver education class on our campus for our students.  Students must be at least 14 ½ years old and enrolled in school. We use the first come, first served method of selecting the student applicants to participate in the classroom. The NC Driving School typically sends us the updated Driver’s Ed Calendar in August each year with class dates.

For more information, you may contact North Carolina Driving School at: 704-922-1960.
