Piedmont senior, Zoe Bryant has been accepted at East Carolina University, Gardner-Webb, Wingate, and Appalachian State. She would like to be a veterinarian and has already received over $100,000 in scholarship offers. She plans to be a Mountaineer at Appalachian State in the Fall of 2019.

This National Honor Society president says, “Painting Class with Mrs. Hall has been my favorite class. Mrs. Hall pushes me to be a better artist and person. I loves art because of the creative ways that you can express yourself and individuality.” From volunteering at Operation Christmas Child to being Vice President of Junior Heart Board, Zoe is quick to lend a hand and work hard serving others. She will complete the Science pathway in the Career and College Promise program by graduation. This has her earning 35 credit hours tuition-free at Gaston College.

On her favorite aspect of attending school at Piedmont, Zoe shares, “I love the family feeling at Piedmont. Mr. Bridges knows every student’s name. He is always saying, ‘How is your job going?’ or ‘Did you get your car fixed.’ I feel like I have a personal relationship with all of the administrators.”

“My advice to my brother, Diesel, and the other rising Freshmen is to surround yourself with positive people. High school can be confusing as you grow into an adult. During this time of growth it is important to connect with people who will help lift you up.”
